HELP! It looks like a 3 year old did it!!

Well Bloggy People....
I'm really disappointed today! I decided to try heat embossing...and I need some serious HELP! So...I tried using pigment ink and Stampendous embossing powder, then I used the Delta Embossing ink pad and both turned out like my 3 year old niece made it!! (not to say that I don't love her art!) I used a heat gun and definately let the powder melt...didn't leave it on too long. LOOK!

Help! :)

I love heat embossing. If it's paper I emboss it, lol. The colour you used here is gorgeous. I understand your frustration though. I find different powders and inks can have very different effects. Versamark is a great ink and detail powders will give you a clean look. You can use coloured craft or pigment inks and clear embossing powder. If you swipe your cardstock with an anti-static bag (or some people use a drier sheet) it'll keep little bits from sticking. Forgive my diatribe on embossing. I just can't imagine the pain and suffering of not bein' able to heat emboss anything that you can keep still for 5 seconds, heehee! ;0)
