LOVE Wedding Card!

Hey Bloggy Friends!! (Not that any of you "friends" leave comments....) LOL

I'm so excited that I've been asked at work to make a couple of wedding cards and an engagement card! For some reason I had my heart set on using this LOVE stamp last night...Here's what I came up with! The pics never do the card any justice....Right Patrick?

Embossing isn't so bad after all.....I found an embossing video that my idol "The Pink Stamper" had done and it has renewed my faith that it's messy for everyone and I'm sure I just need some practice with the solid colors...and maybe I need to get "Stampin' Up" embossing powder instead! "The Pink Stampers" embossing videos:

I'm thinking that CLEAR powder would be good for me...clear embossing over colored ink...I'm sure it's going to be much neater looking! (YAY, more of my hard earned money spent at Michaels!) In the meantime....I am heat embossing everything! LOL I've used my embossing ink refill and a small paint brush to cover the swirl embellishment in this card and embossed it with clear/glitter powder (my new best friend...so sad eh??) I now see though why the cuttlebug embossing folders are so popular!!! So easy and much neater for sure!

Here's what I came up with.....What do ya think?? You'll have to leave a comment to tell me!! ;)

Materials and Tools used: K&Company designer mat pad (background paper), Hero Arts LOVE stamp with clear glitter embossing powder (also used for the swirl on top), inked edges everywhere (so me!!), the Flourish cut (at 1 and 1/4) from the Home Accents Cricut Cart! (Home Accents is DEFINITELY one of the BEST...well worth the $40 I paid!! Pre-ordered this one even!!)

I already told you how much I love this card, But I wanted to repeat it here....It's such a pretty card!!! I love the jewel things (not sure what there called) that are in the corners, did you re-affix them?

Thanks Robyn! I was having trouble with embossing with the solid color powders. On this one I used a color stamp and clear glitter embossing powder, so it worked out OK.
